Interview with Game Night Maven
Brooke started Game Night Maven in the last few months. While it’s relatively new blog, Brooke has been pumping out some awesome game reviews (there are a couple links below!) and I am really excited to see where she takes it from here! Also, read to the end so you don’t miss out on what her MIND BLOWING party trick is!

Tell us about your blog?
Game Night Maven is a resource for anyone who needs a good game for game night, a party, a reunion or family time. I just started this in May, so right now it is growing with game ideas.
How did you get started in the board game hobby?
From birth. My family has always played games. It’s how we spend time together!
What board games are you enjoying right now?
I’m in love with Tiny Towns and I can’t play it enough. But my family is also enjoying Skull King, The Pretender , Palace, Jaws, and Outer Rim.
What is your favorite family board game of all time?
Probably Scotland Yard. Very nostalgic and me and my siblings still get together to play. Ironically, it’s my sister that owns it. But they’ve rereleased it, so I need to get a copy.
What board games are your favorite right now when you have an adult game night?
The Pretender, Tiny Towns, hand and foot, skull king, and nmbr9.
What got you into blogging in the first place? What keeps you around?
My kids are all in school this year. I needed to get my side hustle together. And I’m developing my own game but probably won’t launch for another year.
If money and time were not an obstacle, what would you be doing right now?
Traveling with my family. I’m an adventurer at heart!
What is something that people would find surprising about you?
I write middle grade and young adult fiction. I currently have a manuscript out with 3 agents. Fingers crossed. At this point I need a little luck. I also review young adult fiction for a fan girl website. You can read my reviews at www.thats-normal.com…Oh and I can stick a spaghetti noodle up my nose and pull it out of my mouth. Party trick! (Kinda buried the lead on that one Brooke! We want a video!)
